Liquid metal antennas highlighted!

EGaIn monopoleOur recent publication on reconfigurable liquid metal antennas has been highlighted by the Journal of Applied Physics.  The paper demonstrates a reconfigurable antenna controlled by using a DC voltage to change the surface tension of the liquid metal.  The antenna has a very large tuning range (more than 2 octaves) and is one of the first liquid metal devices that does not require any mechanical pumps to move the metal over a large distance (in this case 75 mm).
