Along with NSF support, BWAC is funded by 15+ affiliate members from industry and DoD labs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BWAC aims at advancing wireless technologies and providing cost-effective and practical solutions for next-generation (5G &amp; beyond) wireless systems, millimeter-wave communications, wireless cybersecurity,  shared-spectrum access systems, full-duplex transmissions, massive MIMO  techniques, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The mission of BWAC  is to collaborate with industry research partners to create flexible,  efficient, and secure wireless networks that satisfy broadband communication needs in businesses, in the home, and in the lives of individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To collaborate with industry partners on creating novel high-performance, flexible, energy-efficient, and secure solutions that satisfy the requirements of commercial and military applications<\/li><li>To address challenges related to the harmonious coexistence of heterogeneous technologies on shared spectrum&nbsp;
