We were honored to have our community partners, AIDB, bring the NTID STEM Bus to UA campus, where we were able to see all of its capabilities and plan future educational activities leveraging outcomes of the current project on RF-sensor based ASL recognition. During the visit, the ASL-Radar project team presented AIDB teachers and administrators our current research and results. Together, we brainstormed ideas for future collaborations that could benefit the technical education of deaf students. Given that COVID-19 had prevented us from holding this activity since Spring of 2020, we were all overjoyed to finally be able to get together and see each other in person again.
