CI4R Visits AIDB STEM Summer Camps

Dr. Gurbuz and Dr. Griffin, members of the UA research team working on radar-based ASL recognition, visited AIDB organized STEM summer camps for deaf high school students in Huntsville, AL.  During the visit, the UA team got the opportunity to observe how teachers instructed English, Mathematics, and Robotics, and where students got the opportunity to code Dobots to sort shapes and colors.  The activity offered great insight that will help current planning for future participation of the the ASLR team in adding RF sensing to the STEM educational components of AIDB summer camps.
