Dr. Gurbuz delivered the opening keynote address “Modern Deep Learning Methods for Cognitive Radar” at the NATO SET 318 Workshop on AI/ML in Cognitive Radar, which was held April 15-16, 2024 in Amsterdam. It was a wonderful workshop, organized by workshop chairs, Dr. Stefan Bruggenwirth and Dr. Antonio DeMaio. It was wonderful to see again many of my colleagues and friends in the radar community all together in one location discussing the future of AI/ML in cognitive radar systems! I also had the nice surprise of seeing some colleagues I hadn’t spoken with in a long time, like Sedat Ture (pictured below) and a former student from TOBB ETU (Nisanur Bakirci).
