- Born and raised in Palo Alto, California (U.S. Citizen)
- Graduated from Palo Alto High School / attended Academic Talent Development Program @ U.C. Berkeley
- Served in U.S. Air Force (1998 – 2004)
- Air Force ROTC Detachment 365 (“Doolittle’s Raiders”), 1995 – 1998
- Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in front of the U.S.S. Constitution (Boston, MA) in June 1998
- Served as a 62E Development Engineer assigned to AFRL Sensors Directorate, Radar Signal Processing Branch, Rome, NY (2000 – 2004)
- Served as a Turkish Interpreter deployed in Diyarbakir, Turkey from December 2002 to June 2003
- Attended Squadron Officer’s School (SOS) in Montgomery, AL in 2003
- Separated as a Captain in Jan. 2004
- Enjoy playing piano, arranging music, drawing, writing stories and reading books
- Avid fan of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Football: Jules Verne, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Dragons, 49ers and Roll Tide!
- Bi-Lingual in English (native) and Turkish (fluent), dabble in German and Sign Language
