CI4R PhD students Muhammad Moiz and Sultan Salehin were awarded $25,000 to implement their solution proposed to the 2025 IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Challenge. The topic of this year’s challenge was “Radar-based Heartbeat Monitoring in Dynamic Scenarios“. As one of four finalist teams, the students will submit a research paper and present at a special session of the IEEE Radar Conference to be held in Phoenix, Arizona in May 2026.
