Dr. Sevgi Z. Gurbuz was selected as a member of the inaugural class of 2024 Hewson Engineering Faculty Fellows at the University of Alabama. Thanks to the generous contributions of the Hewson Family Foundation, the fellowship supports College of Engineering “rising stars” by providing 3-year, $15,000 research funding.
