Bio

In 2023, I graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and two minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. After graduating, I worked in the aviation industry for two years, where I supported the identification and resolution of communication system failures on commercial aircraft at Thales. I returned to school in August 2025 to pursue a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at NC State University, where I am interested in improving applying machine learning algorithms to genetic datasets.

Before moving to Raleigh, I lived in Florida for eight years. Before then, my father served in the army for thirty years and throughout my childhood, our family moved almost annually. From my childhood, I developed a love for traveling, hiking, and learning. Since I love learning about a variety of topics, my hobbies vary depending on my current interests. I consistently enjoy exercising (such as running, rock climbing, and strength training), reading, painting, and playing board games/video games.

I am currently being supported by the Provost’s Doctoral Fellowship for one year and the GRAD-AID for Ag Fellowship for two years.
