Max Gordon is a postdoctoral researcher in the EnBiSys Lab at North Carolina State University. His work is currently focused on using machine learning approaches to integrate molecular datasets in plant studies. This includes combining similar measurements across multiple studies and analysis across measurement types including transcriptomics, microbial abundance, metabolomics, and proteomics.<\/p>\n

Max earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.S. in Computer Engineering, M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at NC State. His research used machine learning models to better understand plant-microbe interactions as part of the InRoot project, under the Collaborative Crop Resilience Program. He was a Trainee in the NCSU\/NIH Molecular Biotechnology Training Program and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":74,"featured_media":2370,"menu_order":3,"template":"","team_designation":[],"team_department":[37,35],"class_list":["post-1975","team","type-team","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","team_department-current","team_department-postdocs"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nMax Gordon -
