She received her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from NC State in 2011 and 2012 respectively. In 2013 she was awarded the National Physical Science Consortium Graduate Research Fellowship. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her research in the EnBiSys Lab ranged from estimating regions of attraction in nonlinear, non-polynomial biological system models to identifying and modeling relationships between layers and components in the lignin biosynthesis pathway in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">P. trichocarpa.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Her work incorporated theories and methodologies from areas including nonlinear systems analysis, machine learning, and control theory.
