Priority will be given to students who have an established background in at least one of the following areas:\u00a0 cleanroom-based microfabrication or nanofabrication experience, advanced level microcontroller programming, VLSI level low-power circuit and system design, PCB level biomedical sensor and system design, cell culturing, handling and immunohistochemistry techniques, willingness to work with cells, tissues, insects and animals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Potential graduate students should first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/grad\/future-students\/index.php\">apply to North Carolina State University<\/a> ECE or BME department and mention their interest in performing research with Dr. Bozkurt at iBionicS Laboratory in their personal statement letter. Subsequently, they should contact Dr. Bozkurt (via research@ibionics.org) to inform about their applications. Current NCSU graduate students are encouraged to directly contact Dr.Bozkurt with their CVs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Please note that Dr. Bozkurt receives several emails from prospective students, and not getting a reply does not mean that these emails are ignored.
