Welcome to the 2015 Presentations of the IEEE Virtual Conference on Applications of Commercial Sensors

This conference has been created to give engineering design teams an opportunity to present their sensor-based solutions to real-world problems. The presentations at this conference describe the problems being addressed and explain the designs and fabrication of prototype electronic solutions. The designs, schematics, microprocessor code, CAD files, etc., for the prototypes are also provided for those interested in reproducing and/or extending their functionality. Our goal is to create a community of “makers” who share information with each other in an environment in which the information being shared has been peer-reviewed by the IEEE.

Enjoy the presentations. Look for the Conference Proceedings which will appear in IEEE Xplore in Spring 2016. We invite you to submit your own work to IEEE VCACS 2016, which will be conducted from March through December 2016.
