Erdem Sennik received his PhD in the Department of Physics at Gebze Technical University,Kocaeli, Turkey, in 2015. During his academic life, he actively engaged in various scientific projects dedicated to the fabrication of metal and metal oxide nanostructures using diverse techniques and investigating their gas sensing capabilities. Since 2018, he has held the position of a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at NC State University. His current research interests revolve around exploring the chemical and bio-sensing capabilities of functionalized capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (CMUT) arrays for the detection of volatile gases contributing to environmental pollution and plant diseases.<\/p>\nPh.D. Students<\/h2>\n
