In addition to quantum mechanics, this involves some of the most advanced concepts of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, which are often spread out over many physics and chemistry courses. We will condense the essential concepts into a one semester course so that the students in engineering and applied sciences can use it in their research.<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><span
