Othman was born and raised in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. He graduated from The University of Memphis, Memphis, TN, with a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering (2020). During his Bachelors, He worked on multiple projects such as Interactive Device for Bilingual Kids, Auto Cat Toy, and Photovoltaic System Development. These projects experience inspired him to join the master’s program at N.C. State University (2021). His research focuses on Optimal Strategy toward Electrification of Short-Haul Ferries – Case Study on the Example of North Carolina Ferry System.
