- Dr Bozkurt offered two talks at Cambridge Display Devices in UK and Holst Center, Eindhoven, Netherlands.
- Our patent application on “Smart sensing systems and related methods” was filed by NC State.
April-December 2016
- iBionicS members (Dr. Bozkurt, Talha, Evan amd Marc) sponsored and mentored the CATALYST team at the Science House including 22 high school students with disabilities from 20 high schools from across North Carolina. The Catalyst InvenTeam also received a letter of support from President Obama. link
Dr. Bozkurt was a panelist in “Science in the Movies” Series, Part 2: “Bugs: Fear, Fascination and Fantasy” organized by North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and NC State Hunt Library. - Michael McKnight serves as the President of the Student Leadership Council at NSF Engineering Research Center for ASSIST.

Dr. Bozkurt co-mentored two senior design teams: GlucoBand Team, Plant Growth Monitor Team.
