Opportunities
Undergraduate Level
Electrical engineering (ECE) and biomedical engineering (BME) undergraduate students at NCSU are strongly encouraged to contact Dr. Bozkurt to inquire about the current research opportunities at the iBionicS Lab by sending an email to research@ibionics.org .
Graduate Level
We may have openings for ECE and BME graduate students. Priority will be given to students who have an established background in at least one of the following areas: cleanroom-based microfabrication or nanofabrication experience, advanced level microcontroller programming, VLSI level low-power circuit and system design, PCB level biomedical sensor and system design, cell culturing, handling and immunohistochemistry techniques, willingness to work with cells, tissues, insects and animals.
Potential graduate students should first apply to North Carolina State University ECE or BME department and mention their interest in performing research with Dr. Bozkurt at iBionicS Laboratory in their personal statement letter. Subsequently, they should contact Dr. Bozkurt (via research@ibionics.org) to inform about their applications. Current NCSU graduate students are encouraged to directly contact Dr.Bozkurt with their CVs.
Please note that Dr. Bozkurt receives several emails from prospective students, and not getting a reply does not mean that these emails are ignored. Thanks for your interest in iBionics Lab.
Post-Doctorate Level
We do not have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral position, but we may in the near future. Please check this website for the updates. Post-doctorate candidates with partial or full fellowships are encouraged to contact Dr. Bozkurt ( via sending an email and CV to research@ibionics.org ) about the latest research opportunities.
