Dr. Suresh Venkatesh is an assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University. He leads the Integrated Communication and Sensing Lab (ICaSL) at NC State University. He works broadly in the design and development of electronic systems ranging across the electromagnetic spectrum from microwave to terahertz. His research interests include high-frequency integrated circuit/system design, integrated reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, metasurfaces, electromagnetic -circuit codesign, and computational imaging/sensing system design.
Prior to joining NC State, Dr. Venkatesh was a research associate scholar in Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Princeton University. He was also Lead Antenna Technology consultant for E-Space (formerly known as Wafer LLC, a startup based in Beverly, Massachusetts) where he lead the design and development of large scale electronically scanned phased arrays from satellite communication. He was also a Research Project Assistant at Molecular Astronomy Laboratory, Raman Research Institute, Bangalore, where he worked on electronic systems for a millimeter-wave radio telescope.
