Raj Kumar Kokkonda

Raj Kumar Kokkonda is a master’s student at North Carolina State University specializing in power electronics and currently working as a graduate student assistant at FREEDM systems center. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal, he worked with Hyundai Mobis as a research engineer in India. Raj has recently worked as a power electronics intern with Ample Inc a San Francisco based startup working on smart power delivery technologies for electric vehicles. He has had design and implementation experience in DC-DC converters, Wide band gap devices, Medium voltage power converters, EV battery systems, Motor drives. His primary areas of interest are MV converters, E-mobility, renewable energy integration.
