Alexandr Koryachko
Alexandr Koryachko is a former Ph.D. student in the EnBiSys Lab. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from the National Research University of Electronic Technology in Russia. Alexandr worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Research Institute of Computing and Control Systems for 5 years before coming to NCSU. His research in EnBiSys mainly focused on exploring genetic regulatory mechanisms in plants based on whole genome transcriptome data and on building the corresponding dynamic models to predict plants' behavior under various conditions. Specifically, this research concentrates on unraveling genetic regulatory mechanisms underlying iron deficiency mitigation in a model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
