Megan Matthews
Megan was a Ph.D. student in the EnBiSys Lab. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from NC State in 2011 and 2012 respectively. In 2013 she was awarded the National Physical Science Consortium Graduate Research Fellowship. Her research in the EnBiSys Lab ranged from estimating regions of attraction in nonlinear, non-polynomial biological system models to identifying and modeling relationships between layers and components in the lignin biosynthesis pathway in P. trichocarpa. Her work incorporated theories and methodologies from areas including nonlinear systems analysis, machine learning, and control theory. Megan is currently an Assistant Professor at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
