The resulting airframe including the mobile node (BeagleBone black, APM 2.6 autopilot, Targus USB hub and TPLink adapter) but without batteries weighs 1.5Kg.

Using the 3S batteries it can lift up to 4Kg of payload (although 3-3.5Kg is probably safer). This payload includes the batteries and other sensors. The test was done using the narrow carbon fiber propellers.
